Donnie Yen is the actor who plays Caine in John Wick: Chapter 4.
History[]
Yen was born in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China to a father who was a newspaper editor and a mother who was a master in the Chinese martial art of Tai Chi. Yen's love for martial arts increased to the point that he dropped out of school and joined a 4-year training program in Beijing Wushu Team. Yen became one of the most popular figures for bringing Mixed Martial Arts into the Asian cinema, with him being responsible for the popularisation of Wing Chun Kung Fu through his role as Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man in four movies of the Ip Man franchise. He also gained international recognition thanks to his roles in Rogue One, XXX: Return of Xander Cage and Mulan.
