After John Wick killed the twelve hitmen Viggo Tarasov sent to his house, John called Charlie to make a dinner reservation for twelve. Charlie arrived with a group of men to dispose of the twelve bodies.
Later, after John repelled Ms. Perkins' attack on him at the New York Continental, he spoke on the phone with Charon, who says that he has heard numerous complaints about noise coming from John's room. John explained that he was dealing with an uninvited guest, referring to Perkins, who was injured and crawling out of the room. Charon asked if John needs to make a dinner reservation, a reference to needing someone to dispose of the body. John replied "Perhaps. I'll have to get back to you". Since John ended up sparing Perkins, he does not call back to make the dinner reservation.
